FILM INFORMATION
BERRY PROBLEMS (2020)
In a film about what happens when a robin eats too many fermented berries, some may say that they get slightly intoxicated.
This film was made in TVpaint with the additional textures being scanned, I used this film as the start of my experimentation with materials and textures which I progressed further throughout the university course.
Language of Flowers (2021)
This 2-minute film is inspired by the meanings behind plants and flowers that have been collected over the generations. It follows a wooden doll-like person on their scrapbooking journey through learning and gathering flowers with numerous different tales behind them. Each flower has a short sequence of movement before collapsing back into its inanimate state to explain the meaning behind its origins.
A TVPaint Film that uses wooden, clay and other textures in addition to the watercolour backgrounds and flowers.
A Lingering FAIlure (2022)
My third year film comes from a more personal perspective where it investigates the idea of fearing failing, it explores different scenario’s in which one may feel like they are failing, school, work, conversations and encapsulates in a small shadow creature that is attached. Looking into themes of being overwhelmed by the smallest things and how reflection helps with facing your fear of failing.
